They redirect their direct deposits through Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, thusly, they screwed you out of a stimulus direct deposit.

I'm not sure if I've gotten mine yet or not, have to ask the wife when I get back home. I don't have anything fun earmarked for the money anyway so I'm not getting too excited about it.

I used the free Turbo Tax efile, are you saying I'll be getting a check in the mail instead of direct deposit?

How did you pay for your filing fees? If you had it deducted from your refund, then that is where the screwing comes in.

Are you guys talking about your stimulus money, or your actual tax return?

Mine was postmarked on the due date (April 15?) and I received my check not more than a week or so later.. I was blown away.. Last SS digits are 99 (yes, 99).

I did my wife's taxes and filed via mail. Just authorized direct deposite and all went without a hitch.

Got mine as well.

95% chance I'll just leave it in savings, I have no debt to pay off and nothing I really want/need to buy.

I don't really need anything now either...

Just going to browse through DealSucker.com - deal of the day monitoring tracker aggregator and see if anything strikes my fancy

Exactly, you need to be spending this to bolster the economy!

The central banks work hard printing money for which there are no tangible assets. The least you can do is spend it.
