I played a little Oblivion, drank some beer, and now I'm watching Secrets of Archeology on History International. I haven't seen 1 second of the game. Sounds like my buddy from Indy is going to be happy though.

I stopped watching at the end of the halftime show. I've been watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

Good thing I didn't bet this yr. I was going to take the bears and the points and bet the over. Not a bad game though.

Where's the option for "I watch football all year and I'll be watching this game too?"

Pretty good game.. I'm glad peyton finallly got his. And in response to why the NFL doesn't play a best of 5 or 7, is that it's too physical of a game. At minimum, they'd have to give them 4-5 days off, so we're looking at a good 3 weeks if the series goes 5.

What about Hockey? They get the shit beat out of them year round and they play WAY more games. What do you mean by physical? Too much hitting? Every sport out there demands more from the players aside from taking big hits. They only have to run short plays, they don't have to chase the ball everywhere nonstop for 45 minutes.

it would be hard to have a 7 game series when you only play what, 16-17 games a season. a third of there games would be super bowl games
baseball plays what like 160 games a season, basketball plays what, like 80

Yep, this is the first Superbowl game I've actually cared to watch because the Colts finally made it. The Bears had a soft post season schedule compared to the Colts as far as I was concerned, and I figured that whoever won the Colts vs Pats game was going to win the Superbowl. Basically, as in most games it would seem, the Colts just had to survive the mess that usually occurs at the beginning of their games. Now the Grossman lynch mobs are out in full force.

I was on the fucking plane during the game.

And all you guys that are bitching about the cowboys and patriots: you are soooooo gay. Both of those teams are gay. They suck. Its a bunch of overrated horse shit. The fucking cowboys are a bandwagon team and the patriots just flat out blow. In general. I don't care how good of a team they actually are, they still suck. Just like the Yankees. If the patriots would've played in the superbowl, I could've given two flying fucks. They're like the red headed stepchild of professional sports.

(sorry, my high school was all cowboy and patriots fans. I have a deep seated hatred of both teams)

PS - jackalope, I'm sorry but the texans suck too. I did go to the colts game though, and if I remember right, we won. which i guess makes us the champions now?

God damn, prince was fucking insane.

It's pouring rain, and the guy still had some insanely clean solo's and mad playing style. Plus his tech handed him his guitar like he was god. ANd then at the end he just tosses his shit off the stage to the guy.

I didnt care about the bowl. I worked till the end of the second quarter and then watched the last half with a friend.

That was the best halftime show I've ever seen. I'll take Prince over some geriatric rock star or pop slut any day (P Maccartney, Stones, tit Jackson).

It was as interesting a game as you could ask for given that Grossman isn't even any good. This season was a dissapointment for me since I like the Bengals and C. Palmer took half the season to get back in the groove after surgury, and then they bungled the end of the season.

Oh yeah, and if playoffs series were more than one game a piece you'd be watching high school football by the time they got to the Superbowl because of all the injuries. So that's a bad idea.

hey I know the texans suck, but since I live practically in houston, gotta root for the hometeam.

as far as the patriots go, i think Im a pats fan because when i played peewee football, my team was called the patriots. I guess I've always had a soft spot for them. but they're a good team. I'm just glad my team wasn;t the broncos or someone else that never wins

Gotta respect that. How do you Texan fans deal with the fact that Mario Williams may go down as the biggest draft blunder ever? I don't think I could be a fan after this season... Not until new management at least.

I watched towards the end of the season, I just kind of started gaining interest recently. We had a half barrel so we obviously had a party, by the end of the game everybody there was too drunk to even care.

That was one of the stupidest fucking moves I have ever seen. Lets see...Reggie Bush. Or wait - David Carr sucks big black clown cock, why don't we get a new QB? Who is this Vince Young I keep hearing about?

David Carr gave my dad (guarentee) tickets to the opening game next year about 2 months ago. So akward. Because hopefully he won't be playing.

Better yet, get him some OLine help and he'll be decent. It's no wonder why he's the most sacked QB over the past few years.
