i work in the electrical systems i&c engineering department at a nuclear plant in NC. woo hoooo let a week of background checks begin now.

I imagine those background checks are very indepth now....or, at least, they should be. Good luck on that job, it sounds like an interesting one.

yeah dude you wouldn't believe the references i have to put down and all the other stuff. plus i had to take a psych exam the first time with questions like "do you love your father?"

oh and statistics and english 200 everyday during the week.

(and chinese tutor 4 times a week)

Freelancing as a secretary in my mom's real estate office, babysitting, possibly getting a job as a waitress so i have restaurant experience when i come back to nyc. and i'm a welcome week leader for nyu, so i'll be back in the city in august.

There is an element of law involved. I work in the Health Canada Strategy Division. I look at policy proposals and deployment strategies. My job is to look at their reasoning, logic, and structure of the reports. I also edit for structure, grammar, spelling, all that mundane shit, etc.

I finally quit working at BOSE because i was tired of just standing around and getting paid well for it... without anything to show for my shifts most of the time

so i got a job in a steel yard for the summer. pulling orders, cutting different steel with a propane torch, etc is what i am doing now.

finished my second day today and i'm stiff as hell
