So who here is going to or have gone to any good summer (close enough) concerts?

Me-
Already went to the Sasquatch Festival - Bjork, Arcade Fire, Beastie Boys, and a bunch of other bands.

Going to the Download 2007 festival, (August 27th) at the Gorge in WA. - Modest Mouse, Incubus, Presidents of the United States, some other randoms...

Hopefully many more.

You?

I'm gonna have to look into it, but the only things coming around Charlotte this summer are HORSE the band (which I have to see) and Warped Tour (no way in Hell I'm going). They need to just cancel Warped Tour already, it's terrible and the lineup gets shittier and shittier every year.

I'm sure there'll be more stuff announced in Charlotte over the summer. Wouldn't mind MSTRKRFT strollin' over here again.

Nothing will beat Creamfields (CREAMFIELDS 2007 TICKETS - CREAM EASTER) in Liverpool, England. Seriously: Chemical Brothers, Groove Armada, Carl Cox, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell, Pendulum, all the Tidy labelers, and on and on. This is THE summer festival.

Also USC 10 in Seattle: Paul van Dyk, Rabbit in the Moon, Pendulum, Hive...

Some great electronic music coming this summer!!

I didn't go to sasquach because the only band I wanted to see was Beastie Boys.

I was going to go to Warped Tour at the Gorge, but now i'm going to be in CA. Oh and that concert you posted, yea i'll be in Ca for that too. Fuck.

I think i'm going to see DMB at the gorge with some of the guys from work.

Oh what the fuck, DMB i'll still be in CA. I can go see willie nelson tough.

I make myself laugh.

Went to Sasquatch, going to Download 2007 (Incubus/Modest Mouse) and USC 10 (woo, Paul Van Dyk). Hopefully some other shows will pop-up on the calendar before the summer is over.

I'm gonna get shitfaced, and see Queens of the Stoneage the day after my birthday.

I do think it'd be pretty badass to see The Presidents though. I heart that band.

Concerts?? What are those??

Oh...you mean musical venues. Gotcha.

I think they're having the Big Valley Jamboree half-an-hour out of Regina (the city that rhymes with fun). Country music fest...I'll stay home and do something more enjoyable, and less expensive.

I'm going to see Clutch this Wednesday.

Other than that, I've been playing a lot of shows. We actually got our first real out of town show coming up at the end of August.

queens of the stoneage is a terrible show. i've seen them 3 times now, and all three times the idiot singer was on stage wasted calling everyone fagots.

save your money and see someone else

I saw moe open for the Allman Brothers a while back, they're pretty good.

Anyway, besides the 2 shows my band has coming up (June 30th and July 4th), I'm hoping to see the White Stripes when they come to CT in July. Maybe I'll catch Sonic Youth again too if they're around.

Daft Punk

There might be one or two that I'm missing.
