| Senior Member | Subscription Service for monthly music downloads Q's 1. What's the cheapest service that will allow unlimited downloads? 2. Are there any subscriptions services that even after you cancel the service all you to keep the songs on your computer, and listen to them? | |
| "It is good that war is terrible, otherwise we would become over fond of it." - Robert E. Lee. "You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe." | ||

| Paw? | Curious, what's stopping you from just downloading through BitTorrent? | |

| Globe Trekker | Both Napster and Rhapsody have their "to go" services up and stable now, and pricing is about the same. I prefered Rhapsody, but you should check and see who has the most available music. I think it may be Napster now. | |

| Globe Trekker | Yep. But you know, if I didn't have XM radio I would still be subscribing to either Napster or Rhapsody. It changes the way you listen to music, and view ownership. If I can listen to what I want, when I want, and the price is reasonable, who cares if I own it? The only gripe I had was with the portables and they answered that with their "to go" services. It's a music lovers paradise. | |

| Cheap Bastard | Couldn't you at least burn the songs to CD? I mean, the quality would be lossy no matter what, but at least you'd have a hard copy. | |
