I'm stocked already. 30 days of food and water for 4 people, plus emergency radios, flashlights, firearms, ammunition, candles, cooking fuel, etc.

So tell me, why do you feel these supplies will be imminently needed?

Well, I can't speak for him, but my food supplies are rated to last 20 years. I'll replace after 10 years or so just to be safe, probably have a big camping trip and use them up or something.

It's really not all that extreme. The emergency rations were about $100 from Costco, and the water I treated and put into sealed buckets. With the radios and all the other stuff I'd say I've got less than $300 invested (beyond the stuff I already had). To me a basic level of preparedness in the event of civil unrest and/or breakdown is just being responsible.

That said, I just wanted to know his specific reasons for the urgency. C'mon Hafleystyles! You plopped this turd on us and left with no explanation. What's up?
