Anyone here have Sprint SERO? I just signed up for it, $30/month for 500minutes, unlimited text and 3g data(tethering included), nights+weekends free starting at 7pm. I got an HTC Touch, waiting for it in the mail. I'm keeping my current Verizon phone active for awhile because I've heard some bad things about Sprint service...I have 30 days to decide if I want to keep the 2year SERO contract or I can get a full refund on the phone within those 30-days if I don't like it.

We'll see how it goes, I've been wanting an unlimited data plan for awhile, but Verizon wanted an extra $55/month for data+tethering.

thats a great deal. i am in need of a new phone and refuse to pay extra for a data plan. you cant even get a decent plan with ATT for $30 a month.

haha, looking at ATT website the cheapest plan is $40 a month for 450minutes. fuck you att.

Sprint SERO is the best plan out there. it still does not do family plans though. Sprint service around here is very good. But I'm on a family plan with T-Mobile. ya AT&T and VZW suck.

The HTC Touch is a nice phone if you don't need a keyboard.

No, $30/mo is the cheapest SERO plan. They all have unlimited txt+data, you can pay more for extra anytime minutes if you want. SERO is the Sprint Employee Referal Offer. Goto Howardforums.com and checkout the Sprint section if you don't know anyone who works for sprint but still want a referal code. I currently have Verizon too, they wanted an additional $55/mo for data+tethering! That would put my plan at $100/mo!

I've heard bad things about Sprint in my area, but with a free, no risk/full refund 30-day trial, I figured why not atleast try it.

No. Also, if I want to receive pictures, they aren't including as texts. You have to pay an extra $5 for picture mail, then another 3c per KB or something retarded. I think I might just try to get out of it because my plan really eats shit and I think I have at least a year left of it.

You are allowed to sign up with Sprint SERO mid contract with no penalties. You will have to sign a new 2year agreement though. You may also have to buy a smartphone, I think that is one of the requirements of Sprint SERO plans. Goto Howardforums.com and get a referal code...

My friend just got his phone today, he was on the phone with tech support for 4 hours trying to get his number changed over... :-O Sprints reputation for the worst support in the bis just showed itself lol

There is a reason why sprint is hemorrhaging customers right now!

So, do you need a unique referral ID to get SERO? I kinda skimmed but I'm not seeing anything about referral IDs on Howardforums :[
