That nigga went to school for the wrong shit! My ex girlfriend(now pretty much just friends with benefits) who I just started talking to again recently went to technical college for CNA(certified nursing assistant).

She said she needed help looking for jobs, because she couldn't find anything at all. I looked ALL OVER the internet for CNA jobs in Milwaukee/Madison, and I found one that she doesn't even qualify for, because she doesn't have on the job experience.

That sucks, hah.

But now on the other hand, if I widen the search to say.. Chicago region, I get a whole listing of jobs. But she doesn't want to work anymore than 30 minutes away from where she lives.
Shit outta luck then I guess.

I don't like commuting more that 20 minutes to work. some of the jobs I get are 50 miles away and I hate it. The drive home is absolutely scarey sometimes. After working 12 hours, the last thing I want to do is fight falling aqsleep on the freeway. I don't see how they do it in SoCal.

Certified nursing assistant? Tell her to take this opportunity to go back to school and become a real nurse. CNAs are basically ass wipers and babysitters, no kidding. They do the dirty work nurses don't like to do, and hospitals hire them to do it because they are cheaper.

Yeah that's what I pretty much told her. And she wouldn't have to commute 30 minutes to work if she didn't move out of her parents house.

Her dad cheated on her mom and she felt "uncomfortable" being there, so she went to live with her 25 year old brother and friend, who both work shitty ass jobs that.. well, you shouldn't be working at when you're 25 years old.

She lives on a lake in the country in a roach, mice, and rat infested house. I pulled off the sheets for her bed and there was 2 roaches just chillin' there. Pretty sick.

If she would just move back home it would only take her 15-20 minutes to get to Milwaukee, not 45-60.

I found that when I lived in San Diego I got a really skewed view of travel time. I would take us, at minimum, 30 minutes to get anywhere. That includes grocery shopping. My dad had a 90 minute commute (each way).

You really get used to. It gets to the point where you just subconsciously factor in that travel time to whatever trip you take.

Yeah but it would probably be difficult for her to live back at home... all that stress and stuff that hasn't been dealt with for however long.

Now if you go from VC to Escondido between the hours of 7am and around 9am, it takes an extra 20-30 minutes at least to get through the construction traffic. And the 15 is always jammed up in the morning so you don't save much time going down Lilac.

yea, one of my ex's is going to school to be a nurse, she started at wctc until she realized there are no jobs availible for cna's. now shes going to uw oshkosh college of nursing, she was a strait a student in high school and the first two years of college, after she started the college of nursing, she could barley get passing grades, and she barley got in, only something like 85 of the 400 applicants get in i guess. so if ur fuck buddy wants to become a real nurse tell her to get ready to work her ass off in school

""Impossible" is a word that humans use far too often."
