Yeah, he's a douchebag, but if that is him, he's right on most of it. I do agree that Isreal has done some seriously bad things, that the US needs to close the secret prisons, and most everything he mentioned in that. What also needs to be done is UN observation of Iran's nuclear programs.

All the worlds leaders are douchebags IMO. Some are just more doucheyer than others. I'm seriously doubting mankinds ability to govern themselves. Anyone ever see that old miniseries called 'Collosus: The Forbin Project'? On second thought, that didn't turn out too well either.

Interesting personality? Nah... Hugo Chávez just believes he's the second Simón Bolívar. He believes he'll unify South America, blah, blah, blah.... He has a lot of charisma, and he manages to fool a lot of people with it. Some around the world think he's doing a good job, but they haven't lived in Venezuela, so they don't know how bad things are down there.
My take? He should be taken down swiftly but, since he already has been talking about the USA planning his assassination, if somebody were to take him down, he'd become a martyr.

Yeah, I know the guy (Chavez) is a total whack job. Between our two countries, we have the makings of a better SNL. If so many lives weren't hanging in the balance, this shit would be so friggin' comical.
In a detatched state, I revel in the total absurdity of the whole mess. IMO: the reason he hates Bush so much? Jealousy. He wants and needs all the power....but alas, has not a flipping clue as to how to go about getting it. This all reminds me of sixth grade playground politics.
