FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida (CNN) -- Francisco Rodriguez owes more than $10,000 in back child support payments in a paternity case involving a 15-year-old girl who, according to DNA results and the girl's mother, is not his daughter.

it's very possible to end up paying support for someone elses kid, especially if the broad is on swellfare. They just go after whoever is visible, actual paternity doesn't count in alot of states. Guys get a frigging raw deal.

I think I read in Maxim recently that some states have a law that the "father", or bread-winner, must still pay child support even if not the father...I'd have to dig it up though. I want to say Pennsylvania is one of the states who do this.

Edit: I'm pretty sure this is the case if the father has been assumed to be the father for so long without a DNA test and then 13 yrs later ( or whenever) finds out he's not the father, just like this case, he'd be on the hook till 18.

The support enforcement divisions of departments of just-us in most states are magnets for men hating women, believe it or not. Just visit one and see for yourself. In Oregon, any woman can claim that any man is the father of their child. The guy has to pay to have the paternity test ($3000+) and all legal expense, of which has to be cash up front, because no law professionals will touch a domestic case on a simple retainer. Even then,
the DOJ SED will rule to make them pay when the real father is an unknown.
The attitude is that it's always a guys (any guy) fault because women should never have to take resposibility for their actions. It's a standard, run-of-the-mill crock of shit. Women want equality as long as it's not equal consequenses/resposibilities for actions and attitudes. Let's face it guys, we're outnumbered and getting fucked over is the norm.

well technically the law may not be this way in Washington (i'm not sure and don't have the time to look it up currently) but I've read many times of this happening to men.

There's only one sollution that'll work guys. those that're married with chidren or intend to have children:
*treat your women with respect and cherish them
*treat your women with equality in a teem mate environment
*raise your kids, be a part of their lives, show them (not just "tell" them) right and wrong
*be pro-active in the family
*be the man and the dad
*let the woman be the woman and "the only woman"
*Take responsibility and teach responsibility....teach by example

The only other alternative:
*refuse to participate in war, in favor of letting the other 2/3's of the population duke it out without
arms and weaponry. AKA: one big bitch slapping catfight....to solve conflicts
*use the taxes saved on war to build up the space flight/travel industry
*develope intergalactic transport
* find a new planet to colonize and let the women have this one

I think it's better to try the first sollution, myself....but that's just me.
EDIT: For the record, I've learned what to do, by learning what not to do first. I've made many mistakes in my life, and have hurt alot of women. Actions I've deeply regreted and have much shame for. You guys can do as you please, but there is an easier, better way than how the society has been going about it.
It can be win+win for the whole population and generations to come.

I've had a catfight fatasy ever sice I was 9 and saw two hot gals going at it at the bowling alley acrost from my house. hair cloths (nearly all of them) and bras flying everywhere. Luving catfights and space, the second set of options sounds very appealing.
