A couple people were playing Halo on the projection screen, some people were fucking upstairs, I had just finished a kegstand when people in the kitchen started yelling COP COP COP.

Most people scrambled upstairs, Me, My buddy, my buddy's GF(owner of house), and 1 other kid went out to the porch to meet em. WOW, as we walked out they were walking up and guess what, we got a keg sitting to the left of us, and nobody remember to grab the bong, YAY, cops see that first thing. So blah blah blah, they tell us to get the rest of the people in the house outside, they take down our names and ages. Asked what that "tube" was, he said he never seen a bottle rocket tube like that before Good thing he didn't ask us to empty our pockets, I had a bowl and a bag, and the other kid that origionally came out with us had 3 bowls in his pocket, he grabbed them off the porch table right before they came up. They told us someone called, not for a noise complaint or anything, but just that their was a party going on. The cops were totally chill, didn't say shit about the bong except that he hopes we have fun shooting off more firecrackers later on(and we did). We told them nobody was driving(of course) and that we were about to wrap it up. They said be safe and they dont wanna have to come back to the house and find someone fell into the in-door pool. They didn't even check our ID's. As they were leaving they told us to shoot off some more firecrackers and have a good night.

My buddy knew the one cop, he had gotten drunk with him at a state police awards ceremony over the summer, his dad is chief police for a neighboring town and one of the chicks that was there, her dad is first class sargent for the state police, gold cards FTW.

We have a very good feeling it was my buddy's dad fucking with us. About 5min after they left he sent a txt message asking how everything was going, we had told him the day before we were getting a keg for super bowl weekend. My buddy was gonna find out today when he went home.

Haha, either it was setup like you said, or the cops had bigger things to worry about and weren't going to bust a tamed party.

That's pretty cool that they just warned you and left. I had a similar encounter at a party at a state park once. We were all drinking, smoking grass, and high on acid. I'm standing there at a picnic table talking about how wasted I am and look next to me and there stands a ranger! Somebody had intentionally or accidentally dropped a bag of drugs right at my feet, and the ranger saw it. He warned us and left, and then so did I. I knew he'd be back and there would be arrests when he did. We had lots of underage people drinking and fucking...

cops came to my buddys house the other day. we just sat there and never answered the door, and the cops went away. he did get a noise violation in the mail.

Once everyone who is staying is there, and everyone who is not staying has left, we usually close the gate to the driveway. We forgot this time though

EDIT: I forgot to mention, those 2 cops that showed up are the only 2 cops that are on shift at that time of night for our town. All the local's go off shift at 10 and then its up to state police, and our town gets 2 of them, 1 car.
