Said he was going to the ER, he was having trouble breathing.

He died at the hospital within the hour. He had pneumonia, but the shot they gave him wouldn't get rid of the fluids quick enough. He basically drowned in his own fluids. He was 49. Sucks hey?

I've been drinking since Friday, but I have to sober up for the funeral tomorrow morning.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You have my condolenences.

How sudden was his pneumonia? It seems like he must've had it for a while if it managed to take his life so quickly after going to the ER.

Thanks guys - and no...not really. Our family is one of those that gets together to drink (and indulge in other party favors) on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We're all pretty detached from one another.
