Just to refresh -

Rose = Mummy
Sharon = Daughter
Adult Alessa = Burned woman on bed
Dark Alessa = Ghosty girl who looks like Sharon
Dahlia = Homeless woman, Alessa's mother

At the end of the movie, while Adult Alessa is barb-wiring the cult, Dark Alessa goes up to Sharon. At this point she is fusing with her, making Alessa whole again. Sharon, Dark Alessa and Adult Alessa are all joined together to make Child Alessa. Basically, it's Alessa picking up from before she was burned. She shuns Dahlia (as you see as they leave the church) because she has chosen Rose as her new mother. Through making this decision she has damned Rose to stay in Foggy World forever more. She will never see Chris again.

thats the part i never understood, sharon and rose are stuck in the foggy world but could that also mean that they died when their jeep spun out? like they died, this was all a "dream" of heaven and when the returned home they were in heaven.

They didn't die in the Jeep crash. If they did then when Chris and Gucci found the jeep they would've found bodies. Thinking they died at the beginning of the film is a very common assumption though.

if i remember the silent hill game series in the second one the dad gets to the foggy world...are they going to make a second movie?

it was a well shot movie and had some really nice artistic creepy moments especially the triangle head guy. but i didnt understand the movie one bit. maybe because i never played the game
