When I was a kid my sister made me a copy of her Foreigner "Head Games" tape, and it was EXTREMELY cool. Tonight I saw their lead singer Lou Gramm at a festival here in my home town.

Before:

After:

You should have seen him. Old, fat, and wearing platform shoes!

The wages of money and fame. The lead singer of Kansas was the same way when I saw them last.

Jebus! Man, all of my heros have fallen...

I took my daughter up to the front row and said "That will be Fallout Boy or The Black Eyed Peas in 20 years..."

Check out the "Midnight Blue" track. Doesn't seem to work in Firefox...

Yeah but those two groups suck NOW...I mean not too many people were disenchanted with Foreigner when they first came out ( or at least I don't think they did).

Perfect. Fuck. Ok stay here and get... butt fucked by 12 Neanderthals. Bitch

One that surprised the shit out of me was a Moody Blues concert in Medford, Oregon. They all looked as they did in the early 70's until you got close to the stage and were able to see that they were all aproaching late 50's. Man they sounded good. That group has been together since '67 and are still going strong.

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

I disagree. Diamond Dave looks very similar to what he did in the 80's. He has short hair now BTW.

Wow Eddie really does look terrible. He lost the trademark smile.

Seriously has he ever seen a dentist or used a toothbrush?

Age sux, I tell you. Make your life count. It doesn't seem like it's been thirty years since I was most of your ages. Time accelerates the older you get; each year goes by faster and faster and faster. I've had numerous near death experiences. You know the thing where "your life passing before your eyes"? For me it was like my life was rewinding in full video from present to past and accellerating as it rewound.
Most thoughts were as vivid as a film and memorable. Being resusitated was where things became a nightmarish bunch of jumbled thoughts. You never know how much time and life you have, so make it count as these 'old' guys have.

Mighty Mouth looked like he needed 3 pacemakers and a jumpstart! I saw them in the '80s and we said "boy, he looks good for his age" Now, I close my eyes.
I hope I can function as equally well at his age but I hope to have the common decency not to.

I hope I have half the energy of "Lips Jagger" when I reach that age.....or even that of Steve (the mouth) Tyler. Kieth Richards, on the other hand, is a testament to the ravages of drug/alcohol abuse.
I don't know how the hell that old timer still manages to remain upright on this side of the lawn.
Irreguardless, I'd shit myself to get to see those legends perform.

He's too 'pickled' to die, at least his body will be preserved forever.
