Now that I've got more time and have some of the site issues straightened out, I'll be posting regular news updates / blogs etc. What this means is the site news won't be picked from other sites by feeds but written by me, Chapel, and other members.

I'll still use the feeds for game videos and the deals section) moderated by us, but not for daily news. Check the main page for updates.

I'm Tweak3D's self-appointed mayor.

Finally, he was starting to stink the place up with all his "intellectual" poo he flung. At least media monkey's poo is entertaining.

Cool, I could due with a little more oversight on the news.

1500 posts and 1 year membership gets the name in blue on the list.
3000 posts and 1.5 years gets bold also.
Moderators are orange, admins are red.
More to come later...

Suggest a color in HTML format that'd look good on that list and I'll give it a shot. It might need to be somewhat neutral to dark/light colors so we can use it for various themes. I just tried the blue for now but I'm open to your suggestions.

Thank God!

It was cool at first, but the board started to get filled with old, false, and reposted news.

Cool, I didn't even pay attention until you pointed it out. The forum seems to really be faster for me lately too.

Nifty, everything seems to be going smoothly. Even the main page looks nice again. Kudos to Dan, Chapel, and everyone else working on the site.

Was the front page always VB'd? Did you just change the style? Wasn't it something of your own creation?

EDIT: And damnit, I deserve bold even if I don't have 3k posts! /sarcasm.

We were using Joomla before. It has provided us with more problems than anything. With the new front end, we are more integrated with the forums, and it will allow us to get you guys into the content creation. *Hint Hint*

It was a "bot" we used to post news. We had to moderate the news, but we used that user account to handle the posting. No more.
