well i left the local hospital ER at about 1am.while heading home i was doing about 75-80mph on the highway. I get pulled over by a trooper. Asks how my night was i told him that i just came from the hospital because i had to take a friend of mine there with a concussion and dislocated shoulder and that in a couple hours i had to be at work. He asked if thats why i was speeding i said yes and apologized. He asked me how my record was and i told him the truth. He comes back and saids i should give you a 380 dollar speeding ticket but you seem like you had a rough night and you didn't lie about your record so I'm going to give you a 37 dollar seatbelt violation ticket. I was wearing my seatbelt .. and i have another bullshit seatbelt violation on my record already. What would you guys do pay the 37 bucks or plead not guilty to the seatbelt violation ?

dude the cop gave you a huge break. seatbelt violations don't do jack to your insurance but speeding tickets stay for 3 years in CT. i'm shocked a state trooper in CT was that nice to you. I've had nothing but bad luck with them. Pay the ticket and run like miller said.

380 vs 37? That should be a no brainer.

Take the ticket

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

Anyone know if there is some kind of repercussion for multiple seat belt violations in 1 year ? thats the only thing I'm worried about.

Not that I'm aware of. My Uncle had like 4 last year

It's only 38 bucks out there? Man, my ex gf got a seat belt ticket here in CA 2 years ago and it was over 100.

ya dude, that's a huge break. just pay that. I wouldn't think multiple seat belt tickets would do anything. $37 is cheap though. I believe it's a lot more here.

I got pulled over in an Intl. CXT once off truck route. Cop could have given me thousands of dollars in tickets (No CDL -class B, driving off truck route, driving commercial vehicle on posted restricted road,) and could have impounded the vehicle (towing that thing alone would have been $500 minimum) and I could have been a posterchild for what can happen to you when you get caught driving without a CDL. HE let me off with a ticket for parking a commercial vehicle off truck route...$250. Take the break dude.

Class B with air brake endorsement. I used to work at International.

You don't need a CDL for an MXT. Hydraulic brakes and underweight.

Fuck, you saw the RV I drove a while back you know the one that has a Semi Truck cab. I drove that without a CDL and even drove it on roads that Semi's aren't allowed on.

I make myself laugh.

I'd definitely pay it. That cop did you a huge favor, and since you probably have a record, you couldn't be given a freebie.

Say goodbye to our beloved planet. Because there is
alot more money to be made in emitting greenhouse
gasses, than curtailing emissions.

Get out of the box, then recycle it.
