...but I just got an apprenticeship to be a tattoo artist and I'm super excited.


That's all.
I'm selfish, impatient, & a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control, & at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.

That's cool. Where at? I had all my work done here River City Tattoo in Richmond but I have friends who have gone down to places at VA beach to get work done and they look great.

I hear it's a hard job to land.. got your pigs feet yet to start training?

Yeah I went through like three interviews..I'm sure it'll be worth the bitch work. Where can I get some pigs feet? lol

Eh, not really. Tattoo culture seems to thrive around big cities and the East Coast has plenty of those.

As for pigs feet, go to a local butcher or ask the other tattooist where they got theirs and how they trained. I do know one artist that learned by tattooing himself and his friends... he kept a few as reminders of his progress. They were horrible haha.

wow that's cool. To be honest i didn't even know there is apprenticeship for tattooing. pretty interesting. Post some of your work. I you dont mind.

I only have one tattoo. I should say had. 90percent is gone. It was on my shoulder, but i lost a patch of skin hehe. Playing too rough

Congrats! This is great for me actually, because I've been asking tattoo artists for something for years and since you're a member of Ryanism I know you won't tell me "no". I've got a concept for an ass cheek tattoo, so you'll need to shave a little...

sweet..

a friend of mine ordered a tattoo kit online, bought extra pig skin or whatever it is, i think he used some kind of fruit too to practice on. got his skills up, tattood friends for free, took pictures of his work and created a portfolio, and got hired at a local tattoo shop and is making mucho money.. everytime i visit theres females lined up like crazy to get names or stupid shit put on them.

The guy who did mine told me that most of the reason they don't do drunk people is they are assholes. I had a bout 4 in me when I got mine.
