| | Pretty nice google app for cell phones | permalink #1 |
| Dont mess with old school | I'm sure some of you have seen this already but just in case you haven't. Google has a new product called google local for your mobile. It's basically a google map app for your cell phone from which you can get directions and maps, as well as satellite images all from your phone. It works pretty well on my nokia 6620 but it does require a decent amount of memory (at least my version does). Try it out here: http://www.google.com/glm/index.html...tm_campaign=gl Oh and make sure you have a good data plan because it will chew through data like nothing. | |

| Dont mess with old school | google.com/glm Your phone should have no problem accessing this app. It's the equivalent of downloading a ring tone. | |

| Dont mess with old school | I remember verizon users telling me that when they get on the web on their phone that they can only go to sites that affiliated with verizon. For example, if I wanted to go to a message board that had wap support I wouldn't be able to because verizon blocks access to it. I don't know if this is true or not, I was just asking. | |
