I'm watching #2 here (Mountains) and im thinking that maybe god wants the panda extinct. Something that survives on food with so little nutrition and such weak offspring, how did it make it this far?

I make myself laugh.

Wait until you get to the Forest episode. Off the chain.

I got the DVD set the day it came out.

It's the bomb.

Whoa it came out already? Awesome! My parents aren't much for environmentalism and conservation so when I saw this series I told myself that I had to show it to them. I want the BBC version.

How much are those DVD's? I think I gotta get a HD setup just for this.

I watched the follow up series to this one called Planet Earth: The Future. It's three parts. Was a very good series about the threat of GW, poaching, and the economics of it all. It discussed ideas, and experiences that I haven't heard elsewhere in this line of documentaries, so it was very good in that respect. If you get a chance to check it out, I would!

The DVDs are fabulous, and the HD-DVDs even more so.

The HD versions are 1080P. They were demoing it at Best Buy and it was honestly the most incredible thing I've ever seen.

Makes me want to buy an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player, but then I look at the price.
