Voting for, no, I'll be voting against. I'd say though that McCain has manged to derail his presidential chances with the illegal amnesty bill he's trying to ram through with the other fat n' happy paid off senators because they gotta serve their masters, La Raza and employers that want to pay $3 an hour, or as Bush would say, because "family values don't end at the border". Nobody seems electable to me in the slightest. I don't know, half of me wants to sit it out, but the other half wants to take out my anger on somebody by voting against them, so none of the options in the poll suit me.

How do you leave out the largest 3rd party?

Official Website of the Libertarian National Committee

As for what I'll be voting, that's more than a year away and a hell of a lot could change in that time. Consider '04 at this time to elections, Dean was considered the underground favorite like Obama. Dude's likely to just be another dream candidate. I'd say we'd have Clinton or another similar dem vs Romney a year and a half from now.

I can see your irony in that, but your comment still made my eyes bleed. :/

I just saw a clip on JS from last nights repub debate and the question was whether or not anyone believed gays should be in the military. No one said they should be, including ron paul. Kinda sad I thought.

No matter what, nothing will change unless it's for the worse. Look how much has changed in the last four administrations. Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kenedy, Eisenhower. I've lived through 10 administrations, witnessed the near brink of the end of civilization as we know it....Is anything really any different? No, they are worse and will get worser. The same fingers are nervously awaiting the order and launch codes...it could happen in a flash and we'd never know it until there's no time to duck and cover.

You're bringing way too much reality to this thread. I to have lived through these admins and it's easy to be pessimistic about the future but for some strange reason I still have hope.

Um, about the whole nuclear war thing, you're kidding, right? I mean, I respect your wisdom and all Mistas, but the threat of nuclear war is nowhere near what it was in even the mid eighties.

I think we're a lot better off now, minus the pesky Middle East situation.

This is just my opinion: I beleive we are in an undeclared arms race. Looks like several nations are expanding and upgrading their military power which includes nukes.

Who do you think prompted it? The US, who publicly declared several countries as part of the "axis of evil" and then proceeded to invade one of them based off of, apparently, false claims?

Do you blame them? I don't.

The "pre-emptive strike policy" is what scares the shit out of me. This frigging war monger government, has set a world-wide precedent that may end up dooming all the planet.

I'd say: "anything's better than what is going on (politically) now".....but that's what what I said when clinton was ended and look what a mess things are now. Just look at what was promissed compared to what's been delivered
in every presidential campaign since......................forever.

The American electoral system is completely fubar.

*edit*

And I forgot to add that Libertarianism is a completely infantile political philosophy that has no place in the 21st century.
