CAMBRIDGE, England (AP) -- A museum visitor shattered three Qing dynasty Chinese vases when he tripped on his shoelace, stumbled down a stairway and brought the vases crashing to the floor, officials said Monday.

This cracked me up. First that it happened, and secondly that a museum would display such priceless and fragile objects within tripping distance. This is just damn stupid.

Haha, what an idiot. If it had happened in the US he would've been beaten by the museum security guards and then sued for everything he had...

It does make you think though, in museums around the country, you can walk right up to priceless objects hundres or thousands of years old. It seems like these accidents would happen more often.
