Shopping Spree this month encompassed:

7 Jos. A. Bank button down shirts (2 white, 1 white/blue checkered, 1 white/green checkered, 1 pink, 2 white with pattern/stripe [blue and light brown/black])
2 Hugo Boss button down shirts (1 white/blue stripe, 1 white/dark green stripe)
1 Brooks Bros button down shirt (solid blue)
2 Jos. A. Bank executive dress pants (1 black, 1 charcoal)
2 Roundtree & Yorke dress pants (1 dark grey, 1 dark brown)
2 Joseph Feiss dress pants (1 black, 1 charcoal)
3 new pairs of Bostonian dress shoes (1 cordovan loafer, 1 black loafer, 1 black oxford)
1 new pair of Cole Haan dress shoes (light brown loafer)
3 new Mens Wearhouse belts (1 black, 1 cordovan, 1 brown)
2 new Tommy Hilfiger ties (1 pink/blue stripe, 1 pink/white/light pink pattern)
1 new Jos. A. Bank tie (solid red)
6 new Ralph Lauren Polo undershirts (crew neck - white)

Some items I paid full-price, but generally I got away with some bargains considering the quality. I have not really bought myself something "very nice" for almost 2 years in my current job and I thought it was time to kind of up my game fashion wise. I make a decent salary, so why not put it to use?? I've been saving like crazy for 2 years, have almost $20k in the savings account, so I thought I might just take some out for some nice clothes.

Overall cost, approximately $1325 for the clothes.

Oh, I also finally bought some golf clubs. There is a Play it again Sports near my apartment, so I went and bought some mid-level used clubs, golf bag, glove, tees, and bag of balls for about $275.

I think I'll make a separate thread for the golf set, once I can get digital pictures.

I THINK I AM DONE!!!! Although, I may be in the market for 2 new suits in the coming months, but I think I'll take my girlfriend along for that one.

wearer of a crown of swords, spinnerout of fate.

I'll never be too old to tweak.

It's hard to believe you only paid $1325 for that stuff. We shop some of the same places for the mid-low stuff for day to day use.

I only go to Jos. A. Bank because they have this off the boat Guido tailor a couple miles away that kicks serious ass. Cash only. Men's Warehouse has nice shirts but overpriced, and no high-end suits. I still find myself going there and plopping down $70 for shirts, as mid-range filler-wear, even though I know I'm getting jipped. Not a lot of choices around here excpt for the high end.

I was able to hit some really good sales, had an awesome shoe guy take REAL good care of me because apparently I was one of the most patient customers he has had in a while. He asked me on 3 occassions if it would be ok to tend to some other customers while I more or less just had to wait and sit around. I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes from him, and he gave me about $100 off the total.

I have never bought a shirt from MW, only the occassional 45/55 polyester/wool pants to get through the week. I just happen to buy my cordovan shoes there, and the belts since they were only $25/each. Since I do not have to wear suits very often at all, I may pursue the 2 for $500 deal at the MW (that I alluded to earlier).
