Looks like this is going to be a very interesting presidential election process!!!!!!!!!!!! Primaries are totally up for grabs, and super tuesday will be VERY interesting.

Could be Obama, Hilary, Romney, McCain... hell even Hucakbee has a real legitimate chance in the Southern states (only lost by 3% in SC remember!)

Steven Colbert put it best. All the strife in the Democratic party will help the eventual winner, the Republicans. I paraphrased, but that was gist, and he's dead right. The Republican nomination is also wide open, but they are handling themselves MUCH better. The race battle in particular couldn't have been better scripted by G.W. himself.

Oh the debate between the Democrats will have little to no effect on the final election. You think someone who is looking at Clinton or Obama is going to turn around and vote for Rudy or something because Bill Clinton dissed Obama?

Not at all.

In the end, people vote the same party lines they always have. And with what is going on these days, I'm having a hard time seeing a Republican take the white house this time 'round. But I've learned to never underestimate the stupidity of the human race, so I could be wrong

Edit: I just voted for Edwards, by mail, yo.

haha, as much as i do not want to see any democrat in the white house, 950 is spot-on with his 'analysis'. The dems will take the white house. there's too much bad tastes in people's mouths these days.

I've crossed party lines in presidential elections before. Clinton twice, Bush twice. And guess what? Given the choice between Obama and someone like Romney I'd probably vote Obama.

There isn't a choice this time around guys and gals.....no real vote, only a lack of options. (imho) Besides, this is all just a formality, nothing'll change after the election...

That makes you a sexist and a racist!
I'm gonna write my name in the ballot. woot!

Seriously, I like how Obama and Ron Paul inspires us to feel good about ourselves but wonder if any real change is possible. Don't like being pessimistic but the past has taught me not to get my hopes up to high.

The Dems were put in office to change things in Washington and what have they accomplished so far? I fear Washington has the mind set "This is how we've done things for years so why change anything?".

I'd vote for you HeavyD. and you're right, the mindset i've experienced with all state and federal employees is "we know the system is broken....but, it's the only one we have". i like how they always obsolve themselves of any personal responsibility by using the word "we".
