| Globe Trekker | It's funny how the Dems are struggling like mad to make McCain out to be GW Part 2. They agree on some points, including some controversial ones like not cutting and running in Iraq. But McCain is very much a moderate. And he's proven himself to be someone who can reach across party lines to get things done. Unlike Bush who is a staunch conservative, and who's only interest in working with the Dems has been to use their dead bodies as stepping stones. The comparison isn't fair or accurate. |

| infinite resolution | Since starting his campaign nearly everything I've read has said he has changed all his views right inline with the typical Republican line. http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/9111.html He is no moderate, he is no "maverick" and he is no original thinker, he is just pandering to the Karl Rove Republican base because he thinks that will get him elected. Just look at the list of areas he has changed his views. And yes, the page cites its sources to back up its claims. |

| Globe Trekker | Pft! Of course he's a conservative. But there's a big difference between that and saying "He's just like George Bush", which is what all the Dems are desperately trying to do. Because they have to. They're looking at the polls and know that both of their candidates are wounded and not looking good in the general election. |

We kind of have this theory on the campaign that Hillary may actually be doing something good by staying in at this point. For example, if she were to drop out right now and Obama ended up losing a state (KY, WV, etc) then that wouldn't reflect very good on him. I've also noticed lately that she's been less negative in recent days and even supporting some of Obama's issues in her speeches. Maybe she's going to attempt to shift her people's support? Who knows.

| Horrible Person | A lot more people are racist than just the people who run confederate flags from the back of their trucks. While they wont scream ****** at any black who passes them, an anonymous vote is another thing entirely. |

| ¡pɹɐpuɐʇs ploƃ | I can handle a 57 state flub every now and then, but this one is just scary, especially because it's a large part of his campaign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF4THiNvVX4 This however is one of my favorite McCain clips: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ajm5JTf7jZs |

| Globe Trekker | The "57 state" flub wasn't any better or worse that McCain goofing up whether or not the extremists coming out of Iran were Al Qaeda or not. They have crazy travel schedules, they don't get very much sleep, talk to a lot of people about a lot of things... of course they're going to goof up. Some more than other, such as Bush. But I don't really fault them for it. NBC is a biased piece of shit anyway; the liberal equivalent of Fox News. And the second video? I didn't hear anything disturbing in that one either. Of course he has different opinions on what to do in Somalia versus Iraq. One has strategic value and the other doesn't. But he can't exactly come out and say that, can he? If Somalia had a significant source of some resource we needed we wouldn't have left there either. |

| Globe Trekker | I'm conservatively biased but I'm moderate enough to admit that an outlet like Fox is generally a biased piece of shit. You appear to use news in the same way a drunk uses a light post; more for support than illumination. Try CNN or BBC, they're much better. |

| infinite resolution | Wow, thats quite a claim. Whats with the personal insults, I thought you were better than that. I actually read BBC most of the time, its my homepage, and as far as TV news I switch between MSNBC and FOX News. Just to keep if Fair & Balanced © |

| Globe Trekker | At least I didn't bluntly just call what you're saying as absurd. That would have been a hateful personal insult. All joking aside, I should have throw a smiley in there. I think it came off stronger than I intended. |

| outside the box! | i gotta wear two layers of tinfoil when i watch network news. i really don't even bother anymore, because when All the sites and noise go through my bullshit filter, all that's left is the fade to black between everything. that's right, all the commercials are filtered out too. |
![]() Say goodbye to our beloved planet. Because there is alot more money to be made in emitting greenhouse gasses, than curtailing emissions. Get out of the box, then recycle it.
