Need some good music to listen to?

Check this out - this company has come up with some sort of algorithm that creates 400 different characteristics about songs, and based on those, this suggests similar songs. Pretty cool.

Yeah - 3 bucks a month for radio thats customized to your taste in music is awesome.

What'd be even cooler is if they could get it to work through the XM radio service or Sirius or something. I'd pay a good amount of money for that.

I think it sucks, I put in my favorite band and they suggested crap, they gave me Puddle of Mud, what the fuck.

It seems more like a advertising your band thing, the more the band pays the more you will hear them as a suggestion.

I put in Dying Fetus and it gave me Eye Hate God, haha.

It did a pretty good job for Pantera, though.

wow I would love this thign if I had broadband. but on dialup its really slow, I get a few seconds of music then stop.

so far everythign goes together really well. I typed in Loudermilk, and all the trakcs they've chosen flow really werll. almost like a soundtrack
