About 6 months ago I made a thread talking about buying a new tv. some of you might remember me talking about getting a cheap ass ugly stand for it. Anyway, about a month later i bought everything but havent bothered to make a thread on it because i was too lazy to take pictures. I finally decided to take pictures and upload them. they arent the best pictures but they get the point across.

Details on my shit:

bought around feb of 2006

TV: Samsung 56" DLP - Model 5667W - $1900 - no tax or shipping
Audio: Onkyo s780 7.1speaker 1000watt - $450 - no tax or shipping
Cable: Motorola HD Digital cable box - part of monthly cable bill
DVD: Philips DVP642 - dvd/divx/xvid player - had from before
Computer connected to tv with VGA cable 1280x768res and digital optical audio cable from my audigy sound card to the onkyo receiver.

haha no, im using 1and1 web hosting. its just a windows theme. i made it using jalbum

ya, i dont really see a reason to get a lcd. i have a big desk that can take a crt and ya. maybe in the future. if i ever get one it has to do at least 1600x1200, probably one of those dell 24" monitors.

i know a guy who won 400,000$ and after summer and a drug habit all he has to show for is that tv, i think he got a bigger one though, his is atleast 5 feet tall from the floor with no stand, but they must be good tv's cause he wont sell it

Nice desk Jamsan. Ali's setup is great. I want a bigscreen so bad. Still workin' the wife on that issue.

Edit: I think I'll get a photoblog, seems like an excellent way to save bandwidth and share some pix. Great way to post pix Ali and Thadood.

and do you actually ever use that fax machine?

i have used the fax part of it once or twice but not much. it is also a laser printer/copier/scanner. i use the printer part of it to print books of shit all the time. its so much cheaper then inkjet, i can get a new thing of toner for about $60. i got the printer refurbished from frys for about $80.
