Has anyone here taken these tests? I have took the pretests for them today and they kicked my ass. I mean I didn't try very hard because it wasn't part of my grade we were jsut supposed to do them and I got like a 30%. I mean this is stuff that schools can't teach you.

If anyone of you have taken it...what was your studying strategy an just basically how did you pass. Because I would say that I know quite a bit about computers. I get A's in all my computer classes and I'm top of my class in grades. But this is jsut ridiculous

BTW I'm just finishing my first year of Computer and Networking Technology AAS.

I took a couple of them and got an mcp and took and past one test for an mcse (I don't remember any of it though, it was so long ago).

My strategy was to just keep taking practive tests and making sure I understood the question and the answer.

Am I really below what I should be taking the pretest for the first time? Or is what most people get when they try this.

Take the practice tests a bunch, and don't underestimate that network essentials test! It's the hardest one.

30 is low but if you haven't studied it then it's no big deal.

The tests weren't easy, it's not like an a++ test, you really need to know your stuff to pass.

I think they changed it actually. I took the NT 4.0 test. Now it's called something else, and easier from what I gather.

Ok I retook the test a read them a little better and I got a 40%. And sadly I am alot happier with that. Is that a decent score for not studying whatsoever?

Study study study...create your own server and read mcsebraindumps.com for examples.Testking is also a good set of examples. You will probably only see most of the answers in real life or in test examples.

Perfect. Fuck. Ok stay here and get... butt fucked by 12 Neanderthals. Bitch

I'm in the process of finishing my tests. I just never got around to taking them all. Please, don't be one of the guys who just memorizes the brain dumps and/or transenders. Get a 2nd PC and setup a server. Get some real experience to go along with the transenders.

That test was easy, if you already had your CCNA

man, i went over several test questions.. i was like.. damn.
the questions were literally a whole page long.

no doubt they fill in with a bunch of bs to throw you from the real question.
just pay attention to what they are askng you.

and take practice tests just as everyone has said. im studying right now with testout and a couple train signals

My brother recently got his MCSA -- He basically read a bunch of the Microsoft Press books (pretty good) and had a few simulations, and then actually setup a 2k server and played around with DNS, DHCP, AD, etc.

I have a bunch of the 2000 books if you want them for cheap (just pay some money plus cost of actual shipping), but as you know, 2003 is out now, so you probably dont...

I'm actually starting to go for my MCAD, and that shit is kicking my ass... I wanted to get it done by the end of the summer, but between work and getting my masters, its impossible.
