http://www.legofactory.com

Build your own custom 3D model, and have them ship you the pieces in a custom box.

I gave up LEGOs a few years back. My lil' cousin has 'em now. I regret it sometimes, but it just was an expensive pastime. I found out about LEGO Factory yesterday, and decided to download LDraw.

I used to be heavily into LDraw. I've got some renders I did in POV-Ray if you guys want to see them...

These are the only ones I could find. It's been a while since I did all of this, so I've managed to misplace alot of the models/renders. Sorry about the heavy compression, as I said these were the only ones I still had around.

I'm kind of bummed that I never finished this one. It's that technic supercar with a working transmission, transfer case, and full four wheel independent suspension. It's got 4WD and 4 wheel steering. If I ever get up the motivation (or if I'm ever incredibly bored) I might finish it.

Nice find, downloading it now.

Anybody remember that online Lego thing we played for a while last year? I kept running around and spraypainting people as I recall.

i used to be big on TECHNIC.

when i was young, god bless that shit was expensive.. Now i can afford it but lost interest.

If i had known about the winning contest part, i wouldve issued a car with working pnuematic lifts serving as a "air bags, etc" or lowrider style lifting. That was a big dream of mine when i was young..

We stood on the mountain tops with calenders and guns
Made peace with the savages
Swapped livers for their lungs
Bathed in different shades of beige,
The new world had begun
