Hey guys, I'm going off to college next year and am in desperate need of a laptop. About a year ago, I signed up for the freeipods.com offer from gratis networks and managed to snatch myself an ipod. Well this time, looks like I'm stuck with a Gateway NX200S because that's the only laptop gratis networks offers now. Doesn't seem too bad, my sister has the NX200X model.

Not cool Miller, I've been working my ass of for a long time now trying to get into a good college. I've done a lot of volunteer work, in fact I run a volunteer program in town. Just b/c I'm not making money, doesn't mean i'm a lazy ass. I know this works because I've done it before and I don't feel like wasting $700 when i can get it for free.

Hey buddy, you seem to forget that you still need something from us, so why don't you calm down a tad? Just showing up randomly with no posts and asking for a handout won't get you anywhere. I would (and I have) given referrals for free stuff like this to more than one person on this forum, not because they pleaded for free shit and then bitched when someone confronted them, but because I respected them as people and as friends here on the forum.
