Great Caesar’s Ghost, if I had a kid that lived in the US that I spoke with I would tell him and/or her to do the same as you regardless of my aspirations for them. That is a great deal for an 18-year-old.

I hope you are saving your money for college and not speculatively mortgaging your future on $1MM home and car. I don't care if the guy next to you has been doing it for 20 years, it will not last forever and some day you will be taking a job for 1/3 that. Probably sooner rather than later in today's world, I have seen it happen to many over-paid union employees.

I've never lost a job. I always leave to advance my career. At this point though, I am somewhat retired. Maybe I'll get in to teaching somewhere or become a reserve LEO in some small town. Maybe.

So the DSS wanted you to continue providing the same services to them and you came to them and told them that you would rather not and were going to leave. Is this correct?

I did an exercise a few years ago and realized that, including my first jobs in High School, I have been layed off or fired from 9 and resigned from 1

I've been continually employed basically since I was 14 years old. Never fired, laid off, nothing. Although when I was 17 I was asked to resign because of some rumors about a blow job from a Red Cross volunteer in my boss's office...

I had another job before the day was out so I was unemployed for a total of 2 hours.

Dude, seriously. The "JTF2" as you put it couldn't raise a welt on an American Girl Scout's fanny. C'mon? Are you serious? And if you are serious and they are badass...........why aren't they doing anything? What are they training for? Is it to help illegal immigrants cross or hinder our border patrol? I mean throw me a bone here. Canada politically is of no help and their military is of no service to us because of that. I'd love to see them prove themselves but, guess what? They'll be sitting at home this Christmas. Badass!!!

The more I think about it, I wouldn't hire the JTF2 for special duty detail, directing traffic at a high school football game. You are delusional man. Trust me.
Every time I hear someone talk about how big and strong the United States' military is compared to the Canadian military I chuckle. I mean, were one of the two countries you couldn't defeat. I guess that technically means you lost. And look where your mighty military has gotten you today. People flying planes into your buidlings. A disgusting muck of a "war". And people are more than willing to use nuclear weapons on you, if they had them. We just sit back and enjoy our higher standard of living...

btw, although never published in any American papers JFT2 has been in action in Afghanistan, read here
http://www.cbc.ca/story/world/nation...har011219.html
http://www.cbc.ca/cp/world/051207/w120746.html

Maybe you don't about them because they are secret, and I'd love you to say that to a jtf2's face.

P.S. On a completely unrelated note, sorry to hear about your son

Eavanr, honestly, the Soviet Union and China must be the two countries of which you speak. And even then it's a matter of debate. Statistically speaking the Canadian military MIGHT be able to take out our coast guard and reserves. It doesn't make America better, but our military is the finest in the world. The quagmire in Iraq would have been outright defeat for most. Most of the military powers on Earth were shocked at how quickly we toppled Iraq and Afghanistan. Just look at how well the Russians did in Afghanistan, for example.

Let's not just say anything without saying it, I just divested myself of my entire checkered employment history above. I was just asking a simple question, that now I increasingly would like you to give a straight answer to.

Without the theatrics, and without regard to how you were mysteriously changed by your short stint with the DSS, etc.:

Is it true that they did not try to change your scope of work, nobody tried to pressure or influence you to leave, and you up-and-dissapointed them by quiting?

Sorry, with all your couching, I need to nail it down to get a simple answer to this simple question.

I'm pretty sure the Russians got fucked becouse the Afghani's had great support from the greatest military on earth, ours.

My answer stands. As for your wishes, I don't care. As for how much you shared about your employment history, it has no bearing on what I think you're entitled to hear about mine. Get it?! Saavy? Don't try to bully me Che. Get over yourself.

You got fired. No problem here. In the future, don't dodge the issue so vigorously and you won't invite such scrutiny. I didn't ask a single personal question about you or your job except that which would pertain to whether you were fired, forced to resigned, or otherwise canceled/reduced in contract. DSS-SRT.

MSP, I was referring to Vietnam and Canada. America failed to stop the North Vietnam from invading South Vietnam and America failed to invade Canada, all you got out of that one was a razed capital.

Yeah, that's probably true. The Canadian winters would wear on our guys much like the Russian winters did to Napolean and Hitler. And let's not forget the War of 1812, aka "Let's try to take big chunks of Canada!". But we'll never know, not in our lifetime anyway. We're all one big North American family here, eh?

Who the fuck do you think you are to EXPECT an answer from me? Let's be clear about one thing here. You dictate absolute dick to anyone on these forums. You chose to spill your guts and I chose to tell all of you some of my story.

For the record, I was not fired, asked to leave, or asked to resign by my handlers. I couldn't be anymore honest in my original post why I no longer chose to be there. It was simply another stepping stone for me to move on in my career. You know what a career is right? My short work there looks good on my resume. I wasn't bending the truth or spinning anything. As I said earlier, you need to get over yourself and, don't presume to know anything about anybody because you don't find their answer sufficient to your liking!

1. greet
2. approach
3. sales approach?
4. compliment?
5. blow-job..
6. yah... that's it. Pac 6 now...

Nope, couldn't tell you the pac 10. Couldn't tell you shit really. Somehow I manage to float through my job and have my coworkers do shit for me. Except ringing, I rock that shit mad pimp style.

I don't get free clothes because my store is on the spotlight program, or was on for a long time but recently got off. (spotlight being a program which focuseas on the bottom 25 stores based on loss, damages, theft, et cetera)

So yeah, that means our managers are prissy and worry about lost clothing. However I did hear my manager talking about giving their discount for a friend. I think anyways.

(oh yeah I did gank a wallet though. it's pimp shit, and it's easy to steal)
