I just stumbled on this video, with Slash talking about the reasons he left the band, Axel's scheming, etc. And I'm not hearing him rule out an GNR reunion.

If Slash came back... I liked GnR I just don't think they can ever be the same without the screwed up chemistry they all originally shared! Looking forward to hearing the new album and seeing what its all about.

Axl blamed him a few years back for Democracy not coming out when it should of. I also recall reading an article where Axl asked himself what the fuck was he thinking when he hired him

$30,000,000 and 14 years to make an album? It's got a lot to live up to. It's going to be tough to live up to the hype, their old albums, or even Velvet Revolver. That album was fucking awesome.

its has taken how long... it should be good, if not fucking amazing... most albums take about 9-12months to make from pre production to recording to mixing and mastering to album art and release, this has taken way to long to sound like shit

I listened to the leaked tracks a while back and I wasn't very impressed. It sounded like another generic alternative rock band. The same goes for Metallica's new album. The songs I heard on the radio were so-so.
