I heard that it will still take Iran roughly 10 years before they have a nuke...I wish I could remember the source but I've watched so much tv this week being sick.

They want to nuke the Jews so bad they might put some extra effort in to it.

The time it takes depends on how similar to Hitler the leader of the country is.

Um... if that was the case, I think right now we'd have bigger problems on our hands than Iran acquiring nukes.

We're unfunky and we're obsolete,
and we're out of time,
gonna take your funk and make it mine.

It's pretty easy to identify nukes, if an enemy of the US got a hold of a Soviet nuke, there would be huge problems for all parties involved.

and longer to they can get one to reach us

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

Something tells me that if a nuke of known origin but used by a non state affiliated terrorist or even perhaps Iran or NK then our government would do jack squat about it. They would be hamstrung by the hordes of people saying we deserved it and we can't retaliate since it wasn't a state that directly launched the attack. Even if we lost all electric power and got sent back to the stone age due to a higher altitued detonation. That is why they need to create nuke list now that is globally publicized and affirmed as US policy. Put all of the backers who we know are pulling the strings and distributing the arms(Russia & China specifically) along with terrorist states we know would use or further distribute the arms (specifically NK and Iran). This list would specify that if there is a nuclear attack on American soil then there will be a nuclear strike against these nations by default, no negotiation. Have congress pass this as a law and then have it signed by the president. Then China and Russia would have something to lose if they don't keep their flunkies in line. It would seem as it stands right now, they could indirectly attack us and Japan using Iran, Al-Qaeda, NK and deny it all the way or blame it on lax security on their parts in guarding weapons that had stored. Japan needs to create a similar list since they have NK to deal with shooting missles into the waters next to them.

The UN vote to turn Iran over to the Security Counsel was telling - the only nations that voted "No" was Syria, Cuba, and Venezuela.
