Both good movies. Out of the two I enjoyed Inside Man the most, it was actually great.

Inside Man - 4.5/5
The Sentinel - 3.5/5

Haven't seen The Sentinel, but I saw Inside Man the day it opened. I'd been waiting for it to come out for about three months. I thought it was awesome. Clive Owen was basically the shit. Excellent heist movie.

Spoilers, maybe.

I like to think of the Sentinal as a mix of 'The Fugitive' and '24' and as good as neither. In fact I can't recommend it. What was original and interesting about The Fugitive is what's tired about the sentinal. And I didn't enjoy the slow pace of the film, which was made worse by the fact that it follows 'the formula' exactly so the everything that didn't involve gunfire was excrutiatingly tedious. It was the kind of movie where the exposition felt dumbed down, and you're left thinking "Yeah, I fucking get it, move on!".

The person who is waiting for something to turn up might start with their shirt sleeves. - Garth Henrichs

derailed was amazingly good -- total shocker. I can honestly say I had NO idea that the plot would've unfolded the way it did.

Inside man was pretty good -- at times, it dragged slightly, but overall, an excellent movie. The Sentinel wasn't too bad either... sure, it was a cliche fugitive movie, but it was done pretty well.
