| Jolly Bolly Fo-Folly | Tweak3D is proud to introduce a new feature for our users. Image Hosting This allows you to upload images to our server and easily include it into your posts. Not only can you upload your own images to share, you can see what other people have uploaded(if they set them as public) in their profiles. Max Image Resolution: 2000 x 2000 Max File Size: 3MB File Types: jpg, gif, png, bmp The above are subject to change as we monitor usage and your feedback. We would like to hear your feedback on this feature. We hope you all enjoy it and that it brings added value to Tweak3D's forums. How to Upload To upload an image, you have multiple routes to do so. From any page you can access the Image Gallery link on the Nav Bar. This will bring down a pop down menu where you can view what images you have hosted, what everyone has hosted, or Upload an Image. The Easy Way The other options for uploading an image are using the posting boxes. You should see now on the Quick Reply, New Thread, New Reply, and Advanced Edit a link to Quick Upload. This will allow you to upload an image and have it included in your post immediately. You can also load a previously hosted image. To do so, just click the Load Image link that is next to Quick Upload, and it will bring a pop-up that lists your hosted images and allows you to choose which ones you wish to include. Just as a reminder, when you click the image of choice, it automatically includes the BB Code and url for the image in your message. We will be changing it around a little bit here and there, but no major changes. We hope that you enjoy this feature and please again, let us know what you think. Another option: aloader.com An alternative for our image hosting is to use Uploader - Uploader v6. This site was set up by superlinuxman for Tweak3D readers to host images. Aloader offers a great interface for uploading and storing images and may allow content that is not allowed using our hosting service mentioned above. If you plan to host a TON of images or access them on other sites, Aloader may be a better option for you. Read more here: Free file hosting for Tweak3D! @@@@@@@ http://aloader.com |

| Chief Webologist | Heads-up Currently you cannot delete an image. However you can say which images are public or private (to other members). We should be fixing this soon. |

| Habitual line stepper | Dan is obviously doing this as a courtesy to the members. Though I'm sure you'd be doing him a courtesy using other hosts, and saving him bandwidth costs. |

| Chief Webologist | Aloader is still a nice service because you can upload non-images. Also he'll allow remote linking (AFAIK) and we'll be blocking that most likely. We just wanted something local that made life easier for everyone, and I think we did a good job implementing it. |

| Jolly Bolly Fo-Folly | We do hope you guys use it. We wouldnt have put so much effort into it if we didnt want you guys to use the service. |

We'd prefer you use our service because it's actually a lot easier than Aloader and I think superlinuxman would agree on this. He gave us some feedback / testing on the system as well. | |

| 3D+Linux Master | Tweak3D does have a NSFW forum, are people aloud to upload NSFW images? The upload system that you guys put together is pretty sweet. I dont think you could have made it any easier to upload an image and post it to the forums. aloader: aloader will still be available to everyone on tweak to use. aloader has some pros and cons. with aloader you can upload many more file types, larger files, hotlinking is fine, but useing tweak3ds upload is SOOOOOO easy and many people wont need more then it offers. |

| Chief Webologist | At this time, no porn/gore is allowed. This is indicated on the upload section. I think this is the best since we'll have a public gallery section. |

| Chief Webologist | Nobody seemed to have noticed but the "Load Image" feature wasn't working on the new server. We fixed it tonight, though. |
