Quote:
INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana (AP) -- A couple sat by their daughter's hospital bedside for weeks after an auto accident until she came out of a coma and they realized she was not their daughter after all, but another blond-haired young woman injured in the wreck. Their own daughter, it turned out, was dead and buried.
It's horrible, but at the same time I laughed. C'mon, I can't be the only one that found it funny...

Im in the same boat with you, I think it was just you and me who also found it funny about the priest who died when his microphone fell in the water with him.

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

Tragic, who could make such a mistake, unless the bods were unidentifiable. Definately a comedy of errors.

I would think it could happen for a number of reasons, denial being one of them.

im laughing, and slowly burning in hell.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873)

Imagine the other parents tho. After all that grief, and burying "their" daughter, they get a phone call: "Yeah uh... there's been a small mixup"

Give a man a match and he'll be warm for an hour.
Light a man on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life.
