| Warrior | It's time to tell the truth about Mr. Ali. First, the misinformation: Mr. Ali suggests that we can change the truth if we don't like it the way it is. Where the heck did he come up with that? That's the question that perplexes me the most, because I have frequently criticized his unspoken plan to lower this country's moral tone and depreciate its commercial integrity. He usually addresses my criticisms by accusing me of ethnocentrism, boosterism, child molestation, and halitosis. Mr. Ali hopes that by delegitimizing me this way, no one will listen to me when I say that I have a dream, a mission, a set path that I would like to travel down. Specifically, my goal is to maintain social tranquillity. Of course, I don't know which are worse, right-wing tyrants or left-wing tyrants. But I do know that Mr. Ali is extraordinarily brazen. We've all known that for a long time. However, his willingness to utilize legal, above-ground organizing in combination with illegal, underground tactics to create widespread hysteria sets a new world record for brazenness. Once it becomes clear that in debates with Mr. Ali, it is important to evaluate whether his provocations reflect a sincere desire to present an alternative point of view or whether his agenda is primarily to replace discourse and open dialogue with cannibalism-prone positions and blatant ugliness, it becomes apparent that he coins polysyllabic neologisms to make his policies sound like they're actually important. In fact, his treatises are filled to the brim with words that have yet to appear in any accepted dictionary. Any meaningful analysis of the situation must allow for the fact that one could truthfully say that my opinions are the obverse of his. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that if he had done his homework, he'd know that it has been said that he thinks that he can make me react, on cue, to the trigger-words that he has inserted into my mind by dint of endless repetition if he can feed us ever-larger doses of his lies and crackpot assumptions. I, in turn, maintain that he wants nothing less than to increase society's cycle of hostility and violence. His habitués then wonder, "What's wrong with that?" Well, there's not much to be done with froward pop psychologists who can't figure out what's wrong with that, but the rest of us can plainly see that our national media is controlled by rummy vagabonds. That's why you probably haven't heard that Mr. Ali's occasional demonstrations of benevolence are not genuine. Nor are his promises. In fact, every time Mr. Ali tries, he gets increasingly successful in his attempts to blow the whole situation way out of proportion. This dangerous trend means not only death for free thought, but for imagination as well. Mr. Ali wants us to feel sorry for the ghastly, lousy nitwits who promote promiscuity and obscene language. I feel we should instead feel sorry for their victims, all of whom know full well that Mr. Ali is always prating about how he should enable pesky freaks of nature to punch above their weight because "it's the right thing to do". (He used to say that the kids on the playground are happy to surrender to the school bully, but the evidence is too contrary, so he's given up on that score.) If I had my druthers, he would never have had the opportunity to let virulent fast-buck artists serve as our overlords. As it stands, I sometimes ask myself whether the struggle to express my views is worth all of the potential consequences. And I consistently answer by saying that sometime in the future Mr. Ali will create a Frankenstein's monster. Fortunately, that hasn't happened...yet. But it will unmistakably happen if we don't expose the connections between the dotty, disrespectful problems that face us and the key issues of Lysenkoism and paternalism. Mr. Ali's mercenaries have already started to beat plowshares into swords. The result: absolute vapidity, capricious and postmodernist cacophony, lack of personality, monotony, and boredom. This may sound like caricature, but Mr. Ali's new definition of "anarchoindividualist" is in disagreement with his pouty proposed social programs. Nevertheless, I can state with absolute certainty that Mr. Ali claims to be fighting for equality. What he's really fighting for, however, is equality in degradation, by which I mean that Mr. Ali's argument that we should abandon the institutionalized and revered concept of democracy is hopelessly flawed and totally circuitous. I can't help but wonder: Why does everyone hate Mr. Ali? Is it because of his business practices, exclusivity, disloyalty, disrespect, or because Mr. Ali keeps trying to rifle, pillage, plunder, and loot? The answer is quite simple. I already listed several possibilities, but because Mr. Ali lacks the ability to remember beyond the last two seconds of his life, I will restate what I said before, for his sake: If natural selection indeed works by removing the weakest and most genetically unfit members of a species, then he is clearly going to be the first to go. Mr. Ali's stances may have been conceived in idealism, but they quickly degenerated into power-hungry exclusionism. I will dedicate the rest of my life to my efforts to take steps toward creating an inclusive society free of attitudinal barriers. Okay, that's a bit of an overstatement, but for all of you reading this who are not fickle bludgers, you can understand where the motivation for that statement comes from. Mr. Ali should not manufacture and compile daunting lists of imaginary transgressions committed against him. Not now, not ever. On rare occasions, in order to preserve their liberties, sometimes people must relabel millions of people as "jealous". Mr. Ali does that even when his liberties aren't being threatened. Be always mindful that you may be worried that he will destroy the lives of good, honest people in a matter of days. If so, then I share your misgivings. But let's not worry about that now. Instead, let's discuss my observation that if history follows its course, it should be evident that Mr. Ali may encourage and exacerbate passivity in some people who might otherwise be active and responsible citizens right after he reads this letter. Let him. Eventually, I, not being one of the many treasonous dole-sucking parasites of this world, will fight the good fight. But there I go again, claiming that Mr. Ali is typical of ill-bred ragamuffins in his wild invocations to the irrational, the magic, and the fantastic to dramatize his metanarratives. Looking at it on the bright side, I have a plan to focus on concrete facts, on hard news, on analyzing and interpreting what's happening in the world. I call this plan "Operation answer the uninformed twits who reward mediocrity". (Granted, I need a shorter, catchier name, but that one will do for now.) My plan's underlying motif is that Mr. Ali likes to quote all of the saccharine, sticky moralisms about "human rights" and the evils of expansionism. But as soon as we stop paying attention, he invariably instructs his forces to turn me, a typically mild-mannered person, into a short-sighted vat of teetotalism. Then, when someone notices, the pattern repeats from the beginning. Though this game may seem perverse beyond belief to any sane individual, it makes perfect sense in light of Mr. Ali's headlong sound bites. Today, we might have let Mr. Ali palliate and excuse the atrocities of his comrades. Tomorrow, we won't. Instead, we will punish those who lie or connive at half-truths. We should note, of course, that what I've written about him doesn't prove anything in itself. It's only suggestive, but it does make a good point that if you think that a richly evocative description of a problem automatically implies the correct solution to that problem, then think again. The bottom line is that anyone who takes Mr. Ali's gloomy invectives seriously has obviously not spent much time around puerile misfits. http://www.pakin.org/complaint/ if its a repost, i missed it |
