I agree 100%

Nugent: Gun-free zones are recipe for disaster - CNN.com

I Am Ahnuld's

Gamercard

Apart from him calling everyone against guns EVIL, I think his examples are pretty solid. I'm also a bit uneasy with the using of this situation for gun politics so soon, but I guess that's how it is.

Gun free zones are a bad, bad, bad idea, with obvious exceptions, like places where flammables are present.

Que Eavanr to come say how the world be so rad without guns.

Nugent fer prez? I've read the writings of Nugent's commentaries and interviews since the mid 70's and he's a no-nonsense individual. Tells it like it is, without caring what's PC, or socially acceptable. great article:
What the Nuge is all about
"self proclaimed enemy of political correctness" I love it!
If anyone gets a chance to read the 'rolling stone' magazine interview, circa 1979, you'll get a kick outa the way 'the Nuge' got out of participating in the 'nam conflict. The story he told them was his way of telling the world ' I didn't go and it's none of your fuckin' bizniz why" There was also an interview in a July 15, 1990, Detroit Free Press interview. I've seen this guy live and have suffered hearing loss because of it ...
...the concerts I've seen him in were friggin' awesome....all 3 of them, twice in his solo career and once with the 'Damn Yankees'

From wiki:
Quote:
Nugent and the animal rights movement have long had an adversarial relationship. In 2000, Bhaskar Sinha was jailed briefly following an incident with Nugent outside a department store in San Francisco in which he allegedly threatened and physically assaulted Nugent, who in turn took Sinha into custody until San Francisco Police arrived and arrested the protester. Nugent has reported receiving death threats against him and his family from animal rights activists. On Penn & Teller's Bullshit! episode about PETA, Nugent claimed, "We've got reports and files with law enforcement across America where animal rights extremists are on record threatening to kill my children on the way to school because we eat pheasant". In 2006 he stated in an interview that "anyone who thinks hunting is terrible can kiss my ass."

It seems to me like the anti-gun sentiment is backfiring and people are becoming pro gun as they realize if you take away guns the only people with guns are the criminals.

I make myself laugh.

wisconsin is one of the few states that do not allow concealed weapons at all. they've been trying to get it changed for years but its usually last year they were two votes away fron overriding the governors veto. if it was an option, i would carry all the time.

Yer right, the bad guys aint goint to buy guns legally....not even stupid criminals. if a psyco is denied a gun, they'll just make up a truckload of ANFO and take out a city block.

He makes good points, even if his agenda is politically motivated.
