and its always the family members, and lame friends who aren't "hip" to the internet... like today i receive a forwarded email about a "fatal crossing", which is that old ass video of the dude walking across the street getting plummeted by a car... and mentions something like "live everyday to the fullest" or some garbage like that.... UHHH hello?!?!?! welcome to like fucking 2003 or something!!

you know i wanna be mean and just rant the fuck out at the person but that means i would have to rant on about a dozen people..

then when you send them something informative, latest technological advancement news, or something REALLY new and funny in a NON-FWD'd message.. they either don't understand it or don't comment on it... its like it HAS to be a fucking old ass used up internet joke from the AOL days for these nubcocks to understand and get a rise out of it!! haha, I always rag on my mom about it as she used to play that game. I think she doesnt do it too much more, or does it and doesnt send them to me probably because I told her I hated it. To me FWD msgs are just as much as spam as spam is. So I get what you are saying.

As far as filtering it, Im not keen on outlook I switched to gmail some time ago, I could tell you how to do it in gmail though.

My mom sends me these emails. I read them out of courtesy but I don't pass them along, lol.

This reminds me of the old AOL days, where you'd scroll down and see some really cheesy effects with *'s until it got to the final punchline message and a request to forward it to 40 friends that you don't have.

My mom sent me a lot of that shit and I just e-mailed her back with a link to snopes.com and told her check that before you bother sending people e-mail. I mostly just hate when people constantly re-post "scary" bullshit. Like every week on myspace some faggot posts something about a missing kid and if they took 30 seconds to search on snopes they'd realize it's bogus. There is no fucking reason to make a bunch of people feel really sorry for some fictional child.

My Mom, Aunt, and a few women from work. I've pretty much put my Mom and Aunt on notice that I consider them spammers and it's cut down a bit. "You've just received a computer hug!
