So i sat on it for a couple days and finally decided to get the Power Blocks. They came out to $374. If anything goes wrong w/ them, they have a 10 year warranty. I like how they came packaged. they feel solid as hell and really good quality. The price might be a bit high, but i think it'll pay off in my health. It's too much of a hassle to go the gym for me. Now i just need a simple bench that will allow me to do incline and decline and i'll be all set. I'm sure i know enough after 3 years of going to the gym (on and off) to know how to get a full body workout w/ dumbells. Even if u go to the gym, they're good for times when u have to travel. They take up as much space as about two shoeboxes. Neat find!

On my bed, where the magic happens. (btw, my gf made me that Diet Coke body pillow and that folded up blanket, ftw)

Hmmmmmmm, i wish u could smell that new plastic/rubber scent (from the handles)

nice side view

from the front. reach in and start working out.

Nah, just like a regular dumbbell. Just easier to adjust the weight. And unlike the round ones these don't roll around.

Looks like a good purchase, let's see those guns!

The only problem for me would be that I'm over 50 pounds now.

Well, on the box it says from 2.5 to 50 pounds, so unless they are upgradable or something I don't think so.

ya, these out of the box are up to 50lbs. but these have slots so u can buy an add-on kit that'll go up to 90, or another that i think goes to 130lbs. but the latter is just overkill in my opinion.

this is the add-on kit to 90lbs:

You'll need the 90 pound upgrade pretty quickly, if you use them regularly...

Hah, hardly. I'm pretty strong but even I can't curl 90 pounds. I do 75 pounds on my Crossbow which is probably more like 65 in free weights...

Nah. I have decent sized bicepts, but nothing like the shit you see on TV. When I switched from freeweights I was up to 45 pounds, and was doing 15 rep sets. Now on the Crossbow I do 75 pounds, 3 sets of 10 reps. Who knows how it compares to free weights? It may be as low as 55 pounds for all I know. It's easier on my joints, so I like it.
