8-9 hours week days. weekends 8-11. Lack of sleep can really ruin the quality and shorten the length of your life, you people need to put down the bongs and go to sleep once in a while!

eh i'm with wiskas about 5 hours or so. sometimes less, sometimes more. i usually go to bed between 9 and 10 and then wake up at 2am, 3am, 4am, and 5am and the alarm goes off at 5.30am on weekdays. you get used to not sleeping, but when it catches up to me it sucks.

Chronic insomnia is probably helped by the bong. But alas, I refuse to put into my body, that which numbs my mind. I've used up all the time alotted for mind numbing.....all my time and 1000 other people's time besides.

5-6 on weeknights and 6-7 on weekends. I'm never groggy throughout the day either and never take naps. I guess I just need less sleep than the average person.

I get really high quality sleep too. Never wake up throughout the night.

That's where you got me beat. I wake up every time I twitch or move. It hurts so much to lay down.

Well, that's BS my friend. And sometimes, I wonder why physicians make such bold statements about something else that their speciality.

Sleep varies from person to person. Light sleepers, that need 4-6 hours to feel refreshed exist, and heavy sleepers (10-12) is also possible.

It really depend on you. But usually, Children and teenager require more sleep, since their body is growing. Also, you needs will decrease through your lifespan.

I sleep a LOT... just not at normal hours. I have terrible insomnia and usually crash from it pretty hard.

Apparently, too damn much. I just woke up 30 minutes late and I work at home.

Normally, about 6-7 hours.

I get anywhere from 6-10 hours usually with 7-8.5 being ideal. I actually function better with too little sleep than I do with too much sleep. Plus if I sleep more than 9 hours I always feel like I've wasted part of the day.

It depends on where I am and what I'm doing. If I'm underway, I usually average about 4-5 hours of sleep per sitting. But, that's in an 18 hour day. When in port, usually get about 7 hours of sleep as long as I'm not working longer hours. Weekends can generally allow for more sleep, as long as I have the time off. I refuse to allow my work to completely envelope my life, as it would really make me an angry person.

Depends. I'll fall asleep anywhere between 9pm and midnight, and usually get up at 5:30am. That's when I'm at home.

When I'm working...I might get 5 or 6 hours sleep at the maximum.
