i have a zillion cables/cords/adapters/shit/etc

How do you deal with the problem of storing all your wires?

not the cords that your pc is using but all the extra one's in the closet that come with random shit like a camera or video card

"It is good that war is terrible, otherwise we would become over fond of it." - Robert E. Lee.

"You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn't it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe."

I used to have a fatty box under my bed with all excess cables and parts. Since boxes like that are shallow, it's easy to see what's in there. You really don't have to dig through it to find stuff.

I have a dresser drawer dedicated to such things.

Give a man a match and he'll be warm for an hour.
Light a man on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life.

How do you all have so many cables? I have a camera one that just runs from my comp and tucks in to my desk. All the rest of my shit is dongles though.

Well, it started with throwing two extra ones into the same area for safe keeping (you never know when you'll need one). Like rabbits, they let nature take it's course and the rest is history. Before I knew it, I had to have a way to store the 'extra' cables. You don't even want to see the mess of ones being used....it's almost imbarracing. I don't like looking back there.
