Hey guys, I've acquired the I.R.S. Demo from a source who wanted me to tell you guys that he was not full of shit and was telling the truth. Axl, you made us wait for so long that it was inevitable that this was going to happen some time or another. This is just a sample of something bigger and better and I think I speak for the fans when i say "this sounds really fucking good".

Don't get me wrong, I like GNR a lot, but I lost my faith in Axl after his appearance on the 2002 MTV VMAs. He sounded and looked like shit!
You can be all optimistic by attributing the crappy quality of that song you posted to the fact that it's only a demo, but that doesn't make it any less crappy. IMHO, a demo is supposed to sound great yet unrefined, reflecting its potential to become an excellent song--even more so in GNR's case, since Axl, from what I understand, has spent millions working on this album, which means the production values should be fucking awesome. If this is a reflection of what's in store for his fans, then, damn, I'll be disappointed. But let's join you in your optimism and hope I'm totally wrong....

The album WILL be released this year, and I'm willing to bet its going to suck. They spent something like 11 million on it (I just made that number up, but I know they spent multi-millions on it), but that just goes to show that money doesnt make music.

His voice sounds a little higher pitched for some reason, almost a little girly. But in general I liked the song. Let's hope they can get the damn album out the door already. I'd love to see Slash return and Guns cut another album, but given the choice of neither recording or both recording seperately I'll take the latter.
