It basically came about from a discussion/argument my friend and I are having over certain behavior and I don't want to state what I'm trying to find out from the survey untill he is satisfied enough results are in. Personally, I know you guys will have your own opinion regardless of what I say, but he will feel that I am skewing answers by stating my opinion. This is why the question he formulated was open ended. He didn't want to push you guys in any direction with regards to your answers.

i answer my phone when i'm home, but i work 2nd shift so i'm gone when most normal people would call. but i do intentionally ignore people that i don't want to talk to (usually cause i know they want something and i don't feel like going through the hassle of getting it for them)

I will explain the purpose for this survey tomorrow, and your response is a perfect lead-in for it.

and before I write the long description, this survey IS referring to friends of yours calling your phone, specifically, friends who are supposed to be considered close friends who you hang out with on a regular basis (or not b/c they flake out like not answering the phone ever).

Well if it was my gf and she wasn't answering the phone for a long period of time, it would be because i smacker her upside the head after she didnt answer it the first time. but whatever works for ya.
