Funny cable company goof.

I have Charter cable and while channel surfing just now I came across the "local events" channel. Stuck on the bottom right hand corner is a window which reads, "Would you like HP software update to check for software and driver updates now?" More than likely it will stay there until the morning crew comes in.

i have seen things like that on the inbetween channels on cable, like the vague low quality channels nobody watches we have in the 20's

Wouldnt you think they would putt hat kind of stuff on a channel people cannot access or something other a channel ou would eventually flip through.

That's a good one, but I've got one better. Surfing late at night I came across a Windows blue screen of death! It was NT 4.0, and I laughed my self silly...

Those community channel's are just MS Powerpoint. Comcast, here, had a win98 computer running it, it's frozen so many damn times.

There was a cable goof-up about 7 or 8 years ago here in Utah. I remember it very well, because it was incredibly hilarious.

It was about 3 or 4 in the morning, and I was channel surfing. I came across channel 5, which, as you all know is basic programming from Antannae. Well, there was a porno on. Yes, a porno. I believe something got messed up and was showing the playboy channel or some other porn type channel. Every single channel was messed up in some way. TNT and several other channels were showing on the wrong channel, HBO was on channel 12, instead of 6, etc.

Funny stuff.
