Around 10:30 i got off of work went home installed my XFX6800, then i called my friend (Allen) and wanted to go out partying. So he called some people and we got this guy to pick us up a 18 pack of Miller Lite bottles. He invited us to a party, but when we were at White Hen getting the beer one of the guys we were with (Ricky) met this chick who was really fucking hot and she was having a party. So we went back to Allens house and they smoked, then we decided to go to the chicks house after we picked up Nick.

1am (enter beer time travel)- So we pull up to the house and the first thing we see is this guy making out with a hot chick in the driveway and it looks like this is going to be sweet. We went inside and started drinking and playing drinking games. Then this guy (Shamos) comes in and is like here and starts feeding us shots. Me and Nick had this glass that had 2-3 shots of SO CO, and the next thing i know we're both outside puking out the SO CO, note we weren't throwing up form to much booze SO CO is just nasty. So we come back and keep going with our beers and then he gave us shots of jack. Which i did like 3-5 of and a long with 3-5 Lites in about a 2 hour span. I wasn't drunk but i had a really good buzz. But then Allen starts going on about how he has thrown up only once from drinking and Shamos sets out to make him puke. He succeeded after going thru ½ thew bottle of jack. Also somewhere in there a guy cut himself on a beer bottle and he had to be taken to the ER, thank god i didn't know him.

So about 4am Allen is throwing up in the front yard while sleeping (face down). And I'm talking to the chick who we met at the White Hen (i don't know her name so her name is now Les). And this chick is fucking cool as hell she is into the same music as me so we were having a good time talking about tunes. Les starts telling us about how when they moved into this house that they were all best friends and now they hate each other. So we go out front and we're out there checking on allen. And then everything went to hell.

Some one locked us out of the the house and then Les went nuts, she grabbed her keys and opened the front door. Next thing i know the door to the basement is locked and some one is kicking it from the stair side. Then she opens the door and this girl named Mallory came out with her boyfriend. And Les and Mallory just start going at it, they smashed a bottle of Jagr everywhere in the front hall and were going fucking nuts knocking things over. So me and some other guy start cleaning up the broken glass, while we're doing this Les takes off in her car to who knows where. It turns out that Shamos the shot feeding dick is Les's boyfriend and him and Mallory's boyfriend start fighting. It took two of us to keep him from going nuts on this guy.

Then Mallory and her boyfriend left and Shamos goes nuts we had to move Allen into the house and everyone had to go downstairs. While we're downstairs Shamos comes downstairs and wants everyones keys. Now at this point i understand that he is a raging lunatic so he's not getting my car keys. And some guy he knows didn't want to either, so this guy not wanting to give Shamos his car keys starts arguing with him. Shamos says that he will get them if he has to kick this guys ass. Around this time my friend says i need to go to the bathroom, I'm like good idea. So i go upstairs and I'm like we're leaving, now I'm the only one with a car out of the three of us and lucky i had been drinking water for the last 3 hours (did i mention this was at 6am). So i walk up to Allen and say “Allen we're leaving and your going to get up and walk to my car.” We got him to my car, took off his puke covered shirt and the stuffed him in my backseat. Next thing i know Nick is taking a piss next to a car. I start yelling at him telling him that we have to leave now before shamos comes outside after us. Finally i got Nick into my car, started it up and began to drive away. I turn around and look up the driveway and shamos is out there running to intercept me. Me and Nick locked our doors and i fucking gun it and i was doing like 30 up this driveway that is curvy, going straight on and off the drive. Then he threw something at my car as i passed him. Then we got on the main road and i was doing 70+ to get away.

I swear to god if we didn't leave then he was going to kill us, this fucker was out of control and i was actually afraid for my life. But we got away and made it to my house with out incident. Hauled Allens ass into the house, then delt with my parents. They were pretty cool when i told them what happened and didn't yell at me, i think they could tell that i was actually sober. Today I'm still on edge from last night and i realized a few things. Nick is selfish all the time and he never will learn because his dad fixes everything for him. He recently ran head on to a retired cop on a motorcycle, totaled his car and his dad is paying for the lawyer and court fees. Allen is following his dads footsteps. Allens dad is 45ish and he drives a taxi cab and rents a house. And i think that its time to make some new friends that are going some where in life.

Yep. We all reach this moment if we live long enough. As much fun as drinking and puking and fighting and driving crazy is, eventually it dawns on us that there is more to life than this. And worse, that all that shit can keep you from doing the real stuff in life. I wrote a note to myself in 1996 that basically said "My current lifestlye is a dead end and I need to make a change." Three years later I had trippled my salary, met and started dating my current wife, and started getting healthy. Sounds like you're writing yourself a note...

eh all my friends are fuck-ups, i like to think im going somewhere though. most people judge a man by his friends, but its not always a good indicator
