I saw the article on /. about Comcast limiting p2p but didn't read the whole article. This is explains why I was still able to get 200+k down last night on the XP install disc.

Interesting idea though.

i havent had any problem yet,
but you know this is just getting madly insane.

and dood, we really dont have any other better choices.. fios isnt here yet and i even hear horror stories about them too.

i think its time for a whole new protocol of download/uploading methods to get what we want.

I got tired of the BS and rip off involved with cable company. bundled everything with Qwest (phone company) got 7meg dsl,direct TVw/3 mos. HBO,Showtime,and Cinamax and 30 more channels , XM, a cell account with free roaming and 500 minutes for less than just digital cable through Charter.
I was only getting 5meg broadband and 60 usable digital channels with that cable account.

i have wave broadband and they have been iffy lately. what i mean by this is that if i leave torrents uploading at my max speed 24/7 (around 110k/s) they will throttle down my connection so i cant seed anymore. so far what i have done is just seed stuff at 50k/s to stay under the radar and it seems to be working so far.
