As long as it doesn't break any of your host's rules, then go for it! . I remember your old one, which was one of the reasons I set up a file uploader for T3d. It's a great thing for the community

Who is your host? 1and1 wasn't really thrilled with some of the stuff people uploaded to my uploader, and they locked my account.

1and1 gives a fuckbutt load of space and bandwidth

i have 30gb space and 1,500gb trasnfer for $10 a month but im scared to upload anything unless i rar it and password protect it and label it backup.rar

1&1 seems like a pretty good deal. For my needs the 5GB storage with 250GB a month transfer would be plenty. And only $2.99 too...

i would use it considering i think I only have 25mb with comcast. But Im not totally sure. Anyone comfirm how much space you have with comcast?

My ISP gives me a lousy 10MB, and I have no idea what the monthly transfer is. Mainly I just want space to hold my digi-cam photos, but I've got several gigabytes of them at this point.

If you just want to set up an image host, 1and1 is perfectly fine. Its when you start uploading mp3s and rar files that they start to get suspicious.

This is a pretty good uploader if you want to use something instead of your old one. I used to use version 5 of that, but the latest version has a ton of great features, including user registration/approval, and bandwidth limiting, as well as much more.

EDIT:

I've decided to require admin approvel for every account to keep spamers out but because of this everyone must use there account name on these fourms
