Floatation/Isolation Tank

Anyone been in a floatation tank and experienced this weightlessness and sensory deprivation? After joe rogan mentioned it in one of his trippy interviews in the past, i found a video of him talking about his personal tank..
The water is highly saturated with epson salt which makes for good bouyancy

im going to make my own discount sensory deprivation tank from a used septic tank and ill let you guys know if its all its cracked up to be

Ha! I got into this when I was in college, never got around to buying/building one. You can get a similar experience with a tub in a dark bathroom with lots of salt (and grass)...

you gotta keep the water 93-94 degrees (external body temp) to get the full effect..
tub water would eventually get cold.

That movie 'Altered States' is pretty good. I haven't seen it in along, long time though.
