I shaved my face, and blotted hydrogen peroxide on the tiny razor cuts i got (i usually just put little pieces of toilet paper on em)..

i woke up today with my face itching like hell and red blotches with little clear bumps in those blotches.. all around my mouth and face and shit.. gahddaamnn!!

am i supposed to not do that or am i allergic to this shit?
anyone else get the same reaction? cuz man, im fucked!

I have had similar results, so I didn't do it again. "If it hurts when you do that......then don't do that" The percentage/strenth of the H2O2 may have something to do with the reaction. I always buy the strongest for soaking puncture wounds I get at work all the time.

You're supposed to water peroxide down. It's a concentrate, or at least way stronger than you need. Also, the peroxide was way over the top.

Remember kids, peroxide is the same stuff you use to bleach your hair.

If you have really concentrated stuff, like they use in rocket motors, it will eat shoe leather. Most of what you buy in the store is around 3%, the concentrated stuff is around 90%. Just another thought.

Or you could just learn to do a better job shaving.

it's time to get a new razor

one that shaves your face, not shaves your face off.

When I almost cut my finger off at a job a few years back the nurse had me soak my hand in it. She filled a cup with water and put like 3 drops of that stuff in there. She said you're never supposed to use it directly on a wound as it will cause scarring since it kills all the surrounding tissue.

Dude, alcohol, not H2O2. H2O2 is a bleaching agent. You might as well have poured Chlorox on your face. If I were you I would hop in the shower and soak my face in water for a while

As absurd as it sounds, a rag soaked in milk could clear up the swelling pretty quickly. Just let it sit on your face, dabbing the major areas for 5 minutes or so.

I had an allergic reaction to Clean and Clear a few weeks back and was told by a pharmacist over the phone to try that. Sure enough, the swelling was gone in 20 minutes or so.

I would have just used a cauterizing iron and sealed up the wounds.

Yup, and they also make power for military particle beam weaponry with the heavy stuff.

The best thing to remedy those minor cuts is pure alum. Just run it under cold water and hold it on the cut briefly and it will seal it right up!

Also works great when I get minor cuts on my hands from cooking. A block is around $10 and I've had the same one for about a year and it still looks almost the same as when I bought it.

Don't use lotion, that could aggravate the situation. Go get yourself some Aloe with lidocaine. You have a chemical burn on your face.

It's a whole lot safer just to use a styptic pencil. It causes the blood vessel at the site of the cut to constrict, stopping the bleeding. Look in the razor aisle.
