What a pos movie. I fucking hate spike lee movies, i gave him one last chance and he failed me. Stupid racial context inserts and misplacement of comedic jokes everywhere that just werent funny.

i thought it was pretty good as far as heist movies go. all the racial/ethnic stuff was too much though.

WAIT DONT TAKE ONE PERSON'S ADVICE. I know TONS of people that loved it. He's actually the first person I've seen that didnt like it.

I usually wouldn't but I don't think he's lying about the film being laced with racial lectures. That's just not what I want to see in heist movies. Make a doc if your going to lay down some real racial citisisms and insights.

the topic is morely about the door lock than the movie..

but if you want to know what im talking about...

- the whole movie was based around exploiting a jew or whoever author case was working for the nazis in the past. BIG WHOOP. no bank robbery, no real deaths, no real blood, no nudity, no BIG money theft, BORING.

- willem defoe is protrayed as a stupid white cop with racial tendencies
- white/italian brooklin cop exposing racial tendencies against "spics"
- black security guard gets extra harrassed after release like hes a culprit displaying an officer's racial profiling
- arab man or whatever the fuck he was gets harrassed because they think hes a terrorist
- little black boy plays a game on the psp (go go advertising) showing blacks killing blacks as a current trend in gaming today. Why the fuck put such a thing in a "heist" movie????? It was kinda funny, but wtf
- the whole idea was stolen from Quick Change with bill murray
- too many scene changes left me movie feeling like it was 3 hours long.. And there wasnt even a climax. wtf.

i bet i enjoy slither more than this.
